EXPLORE LONDON. GET FIT. RAISE FUNDS.
THE FITNESS EVENT THAT MAKES YOU TICK MANY NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS AT ONCE!
Saturday 24th February join us for the Isle of Dogs Fitness Tour to raise money for a great cause whilst getting fit, releasing stress and socializing.
Presented by HeartQuake in collaboration with Æventia, this event is a brand new way to keep fit whilst discovering unique parts of London, bringing together International and British professionals and families to support the victims of the multiple earthquakes that have been hitting Central Italy in the past two years.
Central Italy lies on a major seismic fault line and in the past two years four regions (Lazio, Marche, Umbria, Abruzzo) have been severely hit by multiple tremors, almost on a daily basis. Severe weather conditions and ongoing tremors have made it difficult for many families to get back to a normal life. We want to get together to give 200 children of the little town of Loro Piceno (in the Marche region – province of Macerata) the possibility to go back to the education they deserve after their school has been severely damaged and can't be utilized.
We can make a difference by financing local businesses to provide desks, school chairs, classroom storage, boards and screens both for an infant and a primary school to allow these children and their families to go back to a normal life.
Can't join the tour but would like to support the cause? Thanks to your contribution we can help 200 children from Loro Piceno go back to the education they deserve. 100% of your money will be devolved to the cause.
Meet us at 11:30 am on Saturday 24th February in Canary Wharf for a unique fitness experience.
MUSIC, CULTURE, NATURE AND FITNESS seamlessly blend together in a one of a kind fitness event where we will power walk along picturesque harbours, beautiful parks and breathtaking views and will use different elements of the city to train all of the body, all to the rhythm of music.
At the end of the tour we will gather at Vini Italiani in Greenwich, where Anna Marra, founder of HeartQuake, will be presenting the aims and projects of HeartQuake. A fundraising silent auction will be followed together with a gourmet reception kindly offered by Vini Italiani.
